Edit comment: Just wanted to add that I agree completely with your re-rating of some of Tom Sharkey's attributes. I did feel that he was a bit under-rated in the game. I've always felt that he was one of the greatest heavyweights never to win a world title. In fact, many boxing historians say that he was almost an exact replica of Rocky Marciano...although it may be more correct to say that Rocky Marciano was almost an exact replica of Tom Sharkey.
