Top heavyweight Greg Page made short work of Pinklon 'Pinky' Thomas, who was stepping up in class. Page won the opener by outboxing his rival, then opened up in the second, dishing out some severe punishment before dropping Thomas for a count of six. Gerald McClellan also made short work of his opponent, knocking out John David Jackson after just fifty six seconds, when he let fly with a hook that put Jackson on his back and out for the count.
James 'Bonecrusher' Smith scored a unanimous decision over Jody Ballard, with scores of 79-72, 80-73, and 78-73. Smith was in control throughout and dropped Ballard from a bodyshot in the third.
Mike 'Hercules' Weaver dominated gary 'The Bull' Winmon for three rounds before finishing him off at the 2.47 mark of round four with a combination of punches.

In the opener, Mark Medal won his pro debut by outpointing Juan Carlos Barretto over four rounds with scores of 39-37 on all three cards. Medal suffered a split lip right at the beginning of the first round from what looked like a headbutt in a clinch. Welcome to the pro ranks Mark.
