Here are a couple of more Europeans from this era
HW Gabriel Bigotte of France and Belguim's Robert Eugene. Both were losers in the second round or quarterfinals of a European Heavyweight tournament in 1948. In the finals Aaron Wilson, who despite being born in Nashville, won the event by defeating Stephane Olek on points. With the addition of Bigotte and Eugene all 8 quarterfinalists are now rated.
