Bill Slavin suffered a second round KO to Geoffrey Thorne (17-19-2) and decided it was time to hang it up.
Slavin finishes with a record of 3-22-2. While his career got off to a good start with a MD10 over Jack Burke in his second fight, it never got any better. He lost his next 8 fights and dropped to club in May of 1902. He never went two straight fights without a loss.
