WBF Heavyweight Title

Peter Jackson (10-1) V Jake Kilrain (8-6)

In the second defence of his title Australian Peter Jackson outclassed Jake Kilrain until the referee stepped in halfway through round 12 with the challenger unable to see out of his left eye. This bout was seen as a warm up to the proposed clash with Bob Fitzsimmons which is scheduled for December, this will be Jackson's biggest test since his loss to Sullivan.
