Analysis and Prediction
The first World Series pits the winners of the last three league championships in the American and National League against each other, and it couldn't be more fitting. Both teams seem even in both pitching and hitting, so this series could very well come down to who makes the fewest number of mistakes.
While both teams seem very well evenly matched, something is telling me that somehow, someway, the Phillies are going to pull this out. Their pitching has just a little bit better numbers, and their hitting, while it can be streaky, can be just as solid as the Highlanders. This is a matchup truly worthy of the name World Series.
Prediction: Phillies in 9
