Also it doesn't make sense to monitor players through spring training stats. I don't think real life teams are doing that. Have some kind of detailed scouting report for those in the spring training camp should be much more meaningful than the spring training stats.

Right...bringing a guy in as a NRI should be, essentially, a way to get a better scouting report on him.
