I for one, like the idea. I think that a whole page devoted to player landmarks would be cool. Something along the lines of balls/bats/gloves in a display case marking their first hit, homerun, gold glove, batting title, etc. Although this may be to ITP for OOTP.
Nonetheless, I think you have a great idea that would be fun to look at to see how OOTP people perform on their debut day.

Well it is good to be remembered and recognized. I haven't been on the forums too much but I generally send my contact directly to Markus. I have spent a great deal of my time also with helping Arlie and Gary the bunch at GDS as well.
I will say I can't wait to see this game and will continue to pepper Markus with my ideas just as I have done in the past with the previous iterations.
Expect to see me around the boards more often now as well.
