Menichelli Was stopped by Alberto Santiago Lovell and twice by Arturo Godoy. In his first meeting with Godoy, he was sent to canvas four times in the opening minute of a first round TKO. He came to the U.S. in 1944 and in 1945 was the first televised Argentine fighter. He lost a ten rounder to Steve Dudas and drew with Freddie Schott and Vince Pimpinella.
