Thanks, Vris, and thanks to everyone who voted and commented in this thread. I freely admit that this is my one true OOTP love, this team, its league and the thread I write about them. I have other flings in other leagues and other dynasties, but this is the one I'll give up last.
I've written some stuff in here I'm extremely proud of, and I'm heartened by the fact that people are enjoying it. This dynasty proves the adage that you have to write for yourself: I generally don't get a lot of reader comments, but that's never bothered me, and it's never stopped me from continuing to write, because it entertains me even if no one else ever read a word.
Unfortunately, I've been too busy to update it in the last week or so, despite some pretty momentous stuff happening in the Pirates family, but I'm dedicated to closing out the sad story of Bud Breckenridge if nothing else. One of my all-time favorite Pirates deserves that much from me, at the very least.
And a p.s. to creed: I actually do write in my free time. When I have it.
