Prologue (Author: seth70liz76; 7 ballots; highest vote: 1st (4 times))

I'm going to start by saying a couple things:

1) This one should've been higher
2) Seth wanted me to keep this off the list

Now...I thought about it and figured that would be doing a disservice to the story. This was a great idea that was executed wonderfully. Seth is the biggest micromanager I have ever witnessed (see his A 3rd and 4th League is Born thread). Everything has a step, and each step a small step before it. Prologue was written directly from the context of the times, and it shows the pain and joy and everything in between with the startup of a new venture. Not just a baseball league, but any sort of business. Will the product be liked by the consumers (fans)? Will the product be any good to begin with? Can it be marketed? What about competition? Deceit at the top? This has it all and it is documented in the best way possible. There were a few that tried to emulate it, but nothing could come close. This gets my seal of approval as the Best Dynasty of 2005, but I'm horrendously biased.

We miss you Seth.
