One correction to make with regards to the Mexican League:

I believe the points awarded for the position of finish in each half of the season are actually as follows (at least, the following were used in 2004):

1st - 8 points
2nd - 7 points
3rd - 6½ points
4th - 6 points
5th - 5½ points
6th - 5 points
7th - 4½ points
8th - 4 points

The same point distribution is used in the Mexican Pacific Winter League.

Follow the "Statistiche anni precedenti" link (it's right above the SERIE A1 - 2005 heading) and from the page that pops up you can select from the 1999-2004 past Serie A1 seasons and view standings, schedule results, and player statistics. You can also view the same info for the Serie A2, B, and C1 as well.
