#30 – “
The History of Baseball”

When something is named “The History of Baseball” there is a lot of expectations that come with that. And then, when you click on the thread and see that it only goes 6 pages, you feel a little let down. How can someone fit the
whole history of baseball into 6 pages (no more than 120 posts)? Well, someone could, I guess.
Aside from doing just a part of baseball history, it’s not half bad. I tried this myself a while back, it’s not an easy task what with expansions, new players, and I tried to change the logo of the team as the game went on. Eventually, something technical happened (like I forgot to Catobase or something) and/or the something else happened, I don’t really remember. I got to the 40s though.
This one is an interesting read if you enjoy alternate histories. Along with the stats that he provides, there is definitely some good reading involved. Sometimes he spotlights certain players and other times, the news is just as good.
I suggest trying this one out.
Worth a Look Score:

(This would get one more if it were longer and possibly two more if it made it into the back half of the 20th century).
