I decided to stay with the usual format for my regular (non-Veterans Committe) Hall of Fame Ballot. The rules are the same. Please vote for up to 5 players by listing their full names in a reply to this thread.

I have dropped the ballot size down to 25 by eliminating everyone who did not get a vote last time around. In the future a player must receive at least one vote to remain on the ballot the next time unless it drops me below 25 players being eligible.

There are only six players in the HOB2 to hit at least 500 homers and 3 of them make their first appearance on the Hall of Fame ballot today. It is such a strong class when you consider none of three is likely the best first time candidate. That honour instead goes to Ted Williams, who like 500-homer club members Stan Musial, Vern Stephens and Ralph Kiner makes his first appearance on the ballot. Dave Philley, Red Schoendienst and Eddie Waitkus all had strong careers but will be overshadowed but the previously mentioned hitters.

Only 3 pitchers are added to the ballot. Warren Spahn, Tommy Hughes and Early Wynn all fashioned outstanding careers but all have holes in their HOF resume.
