How to Manually Update a Fighters' Perf Pts
I too have run into this same problem (it has been reported to the powers that be at OOTP about a month or so after the patch with the new perf pts came out in early February or so). Until there is a fix, the time-consuming manual adjustment procedure (first posted on this board a few months ago at posts 79-82 on the top thread of the general discussion forum referencing the latest patch) is to manually save each fighters' current PP after each bout. You do this by bringing up the "Statistics" screen for the fighter(s) in question (top of the page once you are in the "Fighters" option) and then click the little arrow next to "Records" which brings up a series of popup screens that gives you the option to change various elements of a fighter's record. Keep clicking until the eighth or ninth window for Perf Pts comes up, then click save near the lower right hand corner and your up to date PPs will be there next time you fire it up. This work-around, while a real pain in the toukas, has worked for me and I recommend it if you care about having accurate rankings.
This same procedure, by the way, will also allow you to adjust a fighter's perf. pts level to any number desired, i.e., it is a way around another bug in the patch that causes the starting values to be set at either 0 or 1000 rather than the default number which is supposed to be 200. If you are adjusting a fighter with no bouts, you need to enter a phony win before you change the perf pts, save it, then do it all over again deleting the phony win, as the program right now will not allow you to change the perf pts numbers of any fighter without at least one bout.
Both these bugs have been reported to OOTP (both to Andreas and Jim Trunzo) and hopefully one of these days they will be fixed.
