Front Office Football seems to be king when it comes to (American) football sims. Maximum Football recently came out I believe, but I don't know much about it to make an opinion one way or another.
(English) Football Manager 2006, the game I'm playing right now is no doubt the best text game on the market. No game can go as deep as this. It is what got me interested in the sport.
