Well if the tool could cover both formats that's fine too... but I guess most people will want to import into their mySQL database using a Unix tool, just because the database is on a Unix machine (their web server).
But there are also mySQL databases running on Windows, so if the tool can handle them, too, using ODBC for example, that will be great! I guess we need all of the possible pairings
- Windows tool to import into Access
- Unix tool to import into mySQL
- Windows tool to import into mySQL
- Mac tool to import into mySQL
- Unix tool to import into Access
doesn't make much sense i guess
But I assume #1 and #2 are the most important.
