Slip away indeed!

With the signings of OF's Jesse Barfield and Howard Johnson, the Tigers have gained new life and are fighting the Blue Jays (how appropriate for the season) for the 1987 AL East flag.

This would be the Tigers 14th in 17 seasons, or the first for the Blue Jays.
