"[%game pitcher] has the sign from [%game catcher]...(nl)puts his foot on the rubber...(nl)here's the stretch...(nl)and the pitch..."
If he has gotten the sign, his foot is already on the rubber. The ones in the windup section could be interpreted as his turn... but don't think it'd be called that way. Think these references should just go away. There's more in there, but don't mention the sign, so I think they're fine.

"[%game pitcher] got the sign from [%game catcher]...(nl)toes the slab.."
Same as above.
Also [pitcher] gets the sign

"[%game pitcher] bends over at the knees"
He either bends at the waist, or maybe over his knees... but here he's sitting down to get the sign.

"hitters count...(nl)Drysdale from the stretch...(nl)pitches..."
There's a new designated pitcher rule! Only Drysdale pitches in hitters counts or full counts.

"here\'s a [%game balls]-[%game strikes] pitch"
Here's the [] pitch

"The current offer on the table seems to be over a total of [%contract salary total] for [%contract years word]."
seems to be for a total? Or drop "over" altogether?

3920
"With rumors of a secret negotiations "
Drop "a"

3964
"[%personlink] and [%teamlink] appeared headed for a showdown "
"appear to be headed"

4452
"Team officials and player represntatives however"
Spelling, representatives

4454
"two sides are repordly on the verge "
Spelling, reportedly

4455
"Neither side had signed anything at presstime"
Should press time be 2 words?

4479
"but a reportedly an agreement could "
Drop "a"

4502
"The deal is rerportedly in the neighborhood "
Spelling, reportedly

4503
"While the deal has not been yet been finalized"
Drop the first "been"

"[%teamnickname] Offer Extension to [%playerposition capital]"
All right. I'm not sure how the [playerposition] calls come out. I have a few mixed in here:
[playerposition capital] and
[playerposition abbr]
From what I can figure, this one would say "Indians offer extension to CF" which I don't think any teams outfield can sign for free agency.
The [playerposition] call is usually used in what I can make out to become "Centerfielder".
"keeping the [%personage]-year-old [%playerposition] around another " That's a clip from one I thought would read "centerfielder".
I'd rather point them out and them not be problems than not report them and not have them fixed if they are.

4842
"The [%team#1link nickname] pocketbook "
Most in here call [team nickname]?

3216
"I\'ll continue to talk, but [%teamlink] have offered me a better compensation "
From what I can tell, [teamlink] brings up something like "Cleveland". Which would mean this says "Cleveland have offered". Should be "has"

3233
"otherwise I\'m pretty much comitting to them"
Spelling, committing

3239
"so much as I st the [%teamlink] deal"
"st"? Can't figure out what it's supposed to be.

3243
"While think you\'re on the right track, the [%teamlink] is offering "
Should be "While I think you're"
Also, if I'm right above, this would say "the Cleveland is"... should drop "the"

3254
"In fact, [%teamlink] have made a much "
Should be [teamlink] has

3259
"I know your offer is generous, but so isn\'t [%teamlink]\'s."
Should be "but so is [teamlink]'s"

3264
"whatever club I chose to sign with. Your offer isn\'t what I\'m looking for, but it could be if you decided to adjust "
Should be "whatever club I choose"
Also, should be "it could be if you decide to adjust"

4878
"but the [%teamlink] are a lot "
Again like above with "the" in front of [teamlink].
Also should be "[teamlink] is a lot"
