My 1901 Lahman 5.3 Quickstart is available at:

Now for the specifics about the mod:
-- Rosters are set using lahman 5.3
-- Rookies will be dumped into an ammy draft every November
-- No minor leagues
-- Finances are enabled (and utilize Raidergoo's finance spreadsheets)
-- 1901 is all set up with Raidergoo's finances, ticket prices, and attendance
-- Free agency is on
-- Spring training is OFF
-- Injuries are OFF (turn them on in 2-3 years once you have enough players)
-- Roster limit is 22 players on the MLB roster. Raise this to 25 in 1904 or '05. Maybe sooner if you find too many players on the reserve roster.
-- Trades are on
-- Arbitration is set to four years, Free agency to eight
-- World Series is set to 9 games -- the first WS was a best of 9
