I decided to give the game a real test, and created a small league which I expanded a few times ove rthe years.

I didn't touch any settings except to tell the game to automatically import rookies starting around 1875 or so (I forget exactly which year), and to convert Babe Ruth to a batter during his rookie year.

Don't ask about Ruth, it wasn't pretty (short 13-year injury plagued career in which he finally went down in 1928 due to a CEI. He did sport a career BA over .300 though, despite never ever developing much power - his best year saw him only knock in 17 HR's)

Everyone else is fair game to ask about...

BTW.... Ted Williams rang up a career .486 AVG! He's the best ever in this fictional little world I simmed.
