While that is very true, I find myself going to see these fight cards anyways. Since there aren't many boxing shows around within a reasonable drive, I'll take what I can get.
BTW, at one of the earlier shows I went to, I ran into a couple of people representing the new CT Boxing Hall of Fame. They were hawking t-shirts and trying to drum up interest. There will be a 2006 induction ceremony/dinner at one of the casinos in December.
