It's pretty close.
The starters don't go more than four innings (and seeming no less, either). The number of subs is significant, but not necessarily what one would expect from a spring game. A good number of guys get into each game.
I suggest simming a day and checking out the box scores.
To control a spring game, go to your league menu-->Scores and Scedules find your team's game, and select "Manage".
