MW retirements end of 1910
1 out of the 9 guys up for retirement retired. An orginal middleweight in Frank Craig. As a former champion he will have a 60% chance to comeback in the first year and a 30% chance in the second year.
Frank Craig 28-13-2 with 389pp. Frank Craig had a solid career but it wouldn't be noteworthy except for his battles with Tommy Ryan. He fought Ryan in December of 1907 with everyone in attendance feeling he was robbed in losing a MD15. The highly anticipated rematch offered no revenge as it was ruled a draw.
Ryan would fight 3 more times before giving Craig another chance in December of 1908 when Craig stunned the world with a first round KO of Ryan, handing Ryan his first loss and stopping Ryan's amazing 34 fight win streak, winning the MW title in the process.
He would defend the title once before losing it in March of 1909. He finished his career with 3 straight wins.
He finished with 11 Ko's and was stopped 3 times. He dropped his opponents 32 times and went down 25. His defense was strong only allowing his opponents to land 28.9% of the time over 419 rounds.
