My friends and I want to create a "fantasy" league using real MLB players from 1900-2006. For example, One team could draft Babe Ruth, another team would take Willie Mays, another team would take Barry Bonds, another team would take "Shoeless Joe" Jackson. We want to be to pick our home fields from a list of real ballparks of the past or present. For example I want my team to play in the Polo Grounds. Another guy wants Griffith Stadium, etc.

We want 40 man rosters - 25 active players - 15 on a "taxi" squad in case some player is injured.

Another thing we like about OOTP is that we can easily create managers that manage the way we want them to manage.

So my question is... How do I set this up? Can I create a league like this with OOTP 2006? We are not interested in using fictional players.

We have had a APBA league in the past, but it seems that OOTP offers a lot more flexibility than APBA... except there's so many screens and menus, I can't seem to figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.
