Hmm, I didn't notice that...it's not. The game defaults to the first identity. Incidentally, there seems to be no way to start the game with a different identity than the first-created one.
Edit: I guess that might already be fixed in the next patch as part of that whole "Game now remembers the last-used manager" fix...

The default guy was set to unemployed, which ordinarily means the game will stop right at Jan 1st (which it didn't in that case).
Let's see what happens when both are given an ML job...okay, in that case the game stops on Jan 2nd, before the inaugural draft. That's not very surprising, I guess, since it's just an extension to my case 2 above.
