The following is No. 4 of a 20-part series reviewing the 2006 All-American Baseball League. Each feature will focus on one team. It will include the following sections: The Good (highlighting a team strength), The Bat (highlighting a hitting star) and the Ugly (lowlighting a team shortcoming). It will also include the team Most Valuable Player and a final hitting and pitching statistical report.

Louisiana State Tigers
AABL East, 70-92, 7th Place

The Good: Opponents hit just .231 off LSU pitchers. That mark was third best in the AABL.

The Bat: Warren Morris led the Tigers in triples (7), home runs (16), walks (64), RBIs (78), runs scored (81), on-base percentage (.356), slugging (.427) and OPS (.776).

The Ugly: While opponents didn't hit much against LSU, Tiger pitchers issued 542 walks (sixth worst in AABL) which led to 651 runs being scored against them (only three teams gave up more).

Team MVP: Warren Morris, second base (shown below). The East's All-Star starter at the keystone, Morris batted a robust .409 in June.
