The following is No. 7 of a 20-part series reviewing the 2006 All-American Baseball League. Each feature will focus on one team. It will include the following sections: The Good (highlighting a team strength), The Bat (highlighting a hitting star) and the Ugly (lowlighting a team shortcoming). It will also include the team Most Valuable Player and a final hitting and pitching statistical report.

Mississippi State Bulldogs
AABL East, 90-72, 4th Place

The Good: Mississippi State's 2.55 team ERA was the lowest in the AABL.

The Bat: First baseman Will Clark finished third in the East Golden Spikes voting. Clark was second in batting (.320) and doubles (41), fourth in hits (186) and RBIs (85), sixth in home runs (15) and 12th in runs scored (73).

The Ugly: Third baseman Bobby "Luke" Etheridge was hit 23 times by pitches to lead the AABL.

Team MVP: Will Clark, First Base. Clark (shown below) was named East Player of the Month twice. He batted a torrid .455 in July.
