The following is No. 16 of a 20-part series reviewing the 2006 All-American Baseball League. Each feature will focus on one team. It will include the following sections: The Good (highlighting a team strength), The Bat (highlighting a hitting star) and the Ugly (lowlighting a team shortcoming). The Good: Longhorn closer Huston Street recorded 32 saves, second only to Arizona's Trevor Hoffman.

The Bat: All-Star third baseman Grady Hatton batted .275 with 27 home runs and 96 RBIs.

The Ugly: Texas ranked 15th in team batting (.227) and 17th in team ERA (3.52).
