Thanks for the response -- unfortunately, I already tried that. This worked fine when I was doing an actual historical league and was importing real rookies. But it doesn't seem to be working in my fictional league.

At this point, I've just given up and resigned myself to seeing what happens with a long-term sim at current MLB equivalencies. It's fun in it's own way, although I still would have rather had it work properly.
