Don't know if it's in TT yet, but I do know this: At one time during testing I had OOTP on my C: drive and my database on my D: drive. The initial import worked just fine, because all I had to do was define the path to the database before importing (and that's the path that's displayed within the game thereafter). But when I quit the game after importing and then started it again, I got the "can't find database" window.
I just clicked to get rid of the window and proceeded to play, but eventually I got tired of seeing the window every time I opened the game, so before the next time I started a test league with a new build, I moved the database to the desktop of my C: drive. The "can't find" window doesn't pop up for me anymore, now that the game and the database are on the same drive.
The Game Guide, page 65 bottom, specifically says that the database shouldn't be in the same directory as the game--yet, judging by your and Nukester's experiences, there's no harm in doing so, and it might even be a good thing.
Just thought I'd share.
EDIT: I see you have put it into TT, eriq--and you mentioned that OOTP is on your E: drive. According to the other thread you started, you had the "can't find" problem when your database directory was on your C: drive. Have you tried simply putting your database onto your E: drive in some place other than inside the OOTP folder? As I said above, that seems to be working for me.
