Chief Bender pitched remarkably well in his 11 years with the Athletics. He amassed 179 wins and 127 losses, with a 2.41 ERA. He struck out 1697 and walked only 619. He was consistent, but never won a Cy Young Award.

The Big Hurt played for 16 seasons. 9 with the White Sox and 7 with the Red Sox. He batted .287, hit 334 homers and drove in 1144 runs, while scoring 1262 himself.

Kid Nichols didn't have much of a career. He fell of sharply from 1901, when he had a 21-15 record. In 1902, he had a 7-13 record, and then pitched mostly from the bullpen in 1903, going 8-4. He didn't pitch after 1903. He wasn't missed.

Harmon Killebrew disappointed as well. His 7 year career with the Senators ended with a career BA of .253, and no remarkable stats. He was amazingly the rookie of the year in 1959, but he never realized his full potential.
Wow, all RL HoF'ers, all severe dissapointments.
