My Garlon 100+ year sim

Ok, don't know which Garlon I used, rookie or what, I'm sure with one of the results, someone can tell me.

I used no Free Agency until 1975, but drafted players each year.

Winningest Franchises?

New York Yankees 40 playoffs, 20 championships. (AL)

Pittsburgh Pirates, 28 playoffs, 11 championships (NL) *Dodgers right behind with 10*

Only team to never make the playoffs? Diamondbacks.

Player stats...

Satchel Paige was, um, just wow, since the game put him in way earlier than RL. Played his entire career with the St. Louis Browns, from 1928-1947
418-248 2.18 era, 6326 Ks, 0.95 WHIP. (If the legends are true, then... )

Mel Ott played from 1928-1951 with the Yankees, 3785 hits, 855 HR, .327 AVG

Mantle was #2 in HR, with 812, (with the braves, then finshed with the rangers, from 1951-1975)

Ruth with 760(all with the Athletics), then Strawberry with 720.

Ruth still holds the single season mark with 77, although Mcgwire hit 76 in 1987, no one else has even come close.

Don Mattingly is the hit king with 4095, starting and finishing his career with the Padres, from 1983-2004.

Big surprise for me? Kal Daniels. (who?)
1986-2004, (BOS, CAL/ANA), 3306 Hits, 603 HR, .348 AVG).

One thing I did notice in this sim was that averages seemed way too high, with the 100th best performance being a .376, best being .430 by Turkey Stearnes in 1919.
