Here's a guy turns pro in 1932 and in his very next fight, less than a year later, he's fighting for the Michigan State HW title. Two fights later (a 4 and an 8 rounder), in 1934, he's fighting the light heavyweight champion of the frikkin' world Maxie Rosenbloom! What was going through the brain of this guy's manager? By the next year, he's losing regularly and by 1938 he's washed up. Got to wonder what the story was behind this.
