You really aren't likely to get a refund for the game. You can't get refunded for open XBOX, playstation, etc games once played unless they are defective. Same thing here. Give 2006 some time and you might find you'll like it. I suggest trying some of the roster sets or quickstarts available here to get familiar with the game:
