I tend to agree with everything that you said except this one, possibly.

Curry's been showing signs of maturing into the big man in the middle that the Knicks have needed since Ewing. He's had 20+ ppg for 10 or 11 straight games, he's got good movement under the basket with both hands, he's been passing out of double-teams, his fouls are down, and he's starting to block shots. There's hope for him yet, but he has to improve his FT because other teams are going to give him the "hack-a-Shaq" routine if he gets really good.
