Halifax - It has been confirmed by our sources in New York that a young white male was found dead in a room at the Stittler Hotel in Manhattan. The police are unwilling to release the name of the dead man pending notification of next of kin. Reporter Joe O'Herlihy writes that another man was taken from the same hotel at approximately the same time and rushed to hospital. It is now believed this was an unrelated incident. Detective Vic Langille reports that a 9mm German luger was found close to the dead man, but police are otherwise being unusually tight-lipped about the case.
