Greg Page will take on dangerous slugger Rex Layne in what should prove to be an exciting first defense of Page’s WWBU Heavyweight championship. Page should retain easily and betting has reflected that opinion with Page the very short priced favorite.

Kicking off this month is the Light Heavyweight WWBU Championship tournament with the semi-finals. The first bout sees top ranked Michael Bennett facing George Nichols, who is young but talented. In the other bout budding superstar Don LaLonde will fight the tough Argentinean Victor Robledo. LaLonde should have far too much power for Robledo.
