I'll post here any time I add more to the manual.

There's also a link to download the manual in the help menu in the game.

Opening the Manual from Inside the Game
Once you download the manual, you can also make it so that you can open the manual from within the game. If you save the manual to the OOTP Baseball 8 folder, then the game will automatically open the manual when you select Manual from the Help menu in the game.

The path to save the manual is:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\ootpb8_manual.pdf

(The manual must keep that exact file name, or this won't work.)

You need the free Acrobat Reader software to open the manual. Download it from this site: http://www.adobe.com/

Just FYI, this year the Customization Guide has been lumped into the manual. Like last year, there are customization pieces that didn't make it into the release version. Just not enough time to write everything.

At least several additions are already written and just need to be formatted and edited. The pieces that should be coming shortly include:

instructions on editing logos, caps, and jerseys
instructions on customizing OOTPB's HTML output
a mapping of fields and files in the CSV dump
and more!
