I ran two more quick 30 year sims... I found that increasing the doubles a bit from where they were and decreasing the K's a bit got my ERA's up to a level I was happier with without messing up the batting stats too much.

I suppose some of the problem is the known issue of too much consistency in pitching for OOTP, that makes sense. Part of what bothers me is that I just can't imagine a starting pitcher having ERA's of 1.25, 0.98, 1.47, 1.82, 1.14 in a run of five years (actual numbers).

The closest I can think of would be Koufax in his last four seasons but that proves the point that this shouldn't be common to have a run like that, it should be one pitcher in 50 years.

Anyway, tweaking the settings seemed to help that situation out. Getting better results now and looking forward to 1.1.
