You're looking for a skilled manager and planner, with some idea of how to build a championship baseball franchise. In that respect, sir - I'm the perfect man for the job.
"You see, sir, I've spent my entire life thinking about this, and with the right staf and the right plan...."
Several hours later:
"...We've not sensed an opportunity like this since we founded Humana all those years ago. And that is why I, along with my good friend and co-owner Wendell Cherry, would like to introduce to you the next General Manager of the Kentucky Stallions - Gordy Hulten."
"Thank you, gentlemen. Thank you, everyone. I'm greatful for the opportunity provided to me today by Mr. Cherry and Mr. Jones. I'm honored to accept this position, and look forward to returning the Kentucky Stallions to the postseason and winning championships here.
"We're going to start with a top-to-bottom evaluation of every coach, scout, staff member and player...."
