Beta version of 1871 quickstart

Real players, real teams, real schedules, real player photos.

I did a test run and it looks to be stable. I didn't edit the players' ratings and some of them seem a little off, but nothing too crazy. (Remember too that the small sample size of 1871 lends itself to odd results.)

In order to make this work going forward past 1871, there are a few things you'll need:

1. A version of the Lahman database with all the NAs, AAs, UAs, PLs and FLs changed to "NL." (Find and replace is your friend.)
2. The game engine files edited. I used a 55 for double plays, a 600 for fielding errors and a 1047 for passed balls. This seems to work pretty well.
3. A willingness to work with the league totals unless someone figures out how to make them autoupdate for the 19th century. I've worked with league totals a lot over the years and assuming things work the same with this version I may be able to give a little guidance in this area.
4. The patience to find your own schedules and such if you want real teams and schedules. (I'll be glad to send along anything I've got, but I sim rather slowly and it'll probably take me a few weeks to get to 1872.)

You definitely have to have some patience and willingness to tinker with things to use this quickstart, but for those who want to replay from the real beginning of professional baseball this may help get you started. The file is about 5 meg zipped; I will gladly send it along to anyone who wants it. Just PM me if you're interested.

Also note that this is a beta version: I've test-simmed it a couple of times but there may be some issues. Feel free to let me know what you find and I'll see what I can do.
