For some reason, the new version wouldn't display the current year in the "Select a Year" dropdown. It only showed 2013 when we are in 2014.
I compared the old development.html to the new one and saw the following line left out of the new one. I don't know if that was intentional, but when I put it back, I could see 2014 in the dropdown:
$years{($1+1)} = $1+1;
