WSB currently has four openings:
New York Yankees: They finished the year at 80-82, 9 GB of the Red Sox in the AL East. They have the 11th-best farm system. With only two significant FAs and plenty of room finanically, they are a contender.
Cleveland Indians: They finished the year at 90-72, 13 GB of the Tigers (who are the Yankees of the WSB). They have the 12th-best farm system. With no significant FAs, they can be a contender.
Toronto Blue Jays: They finished at 54-108, the worst record in the league. They have the 13th-best farm system, plus the top pick in next year's draft. If you are looking for a project, they would be your team.
Seattle Mariners: They finished at 99-63, winning the AL West by 10 games. They have the 21st-best farm system and the current MVP. They have a few significant FAs. They can easily be a contender.
The season rolls over Thursday night or Friday morning, so you can still resign the potential FAs if you join before the file flips.
