It would be really nice if the engine could have some pre set eras when you create a universe.
Sort of like OOTP 6 had
Maybe pre 1900 to about 1915 when the sport started to change to a legitiment big time sport with commisions and hard set rules and much much larger purses.
1915 to 1930
Then the 1930s with the depression
1940s where the sport regained its legs and radio massivly increased its popularity and black fighters were almost treated as equals
Into the 50s and 60s where the sport still had a very large following and purses increased as TV was introduced
1970s as the sport began to decline and the rules began to favour saftey
1980s with a brief resurgance and foriegn fighters began to become a much large force and began to dominate the lower weight classes
Then the 1990s-2000s where the sport dropped out of the top half dozen sports. Foreign fighters were a dominant force in every weight class and in order to get big money purses you have to have a fight on PPV
If they can find a way to compress that into 5-6 different eras which effect where fighters come from in the world, rule sets, purses, heights and weights and boxing styles.
That would be incredibly nice for fictional universes
