Main Event

WW - Kyle Whitney (9/7) (19-5-5) scored a KO10 over Battling Hurley (11/15) (17-2-1) (pre) to win the vacant USBA WW title. The title was vacated when Britton won the world title.

Whitney dominated the fight opening a cut over Hurley's right eye in the second and dropping Hurley twice in the 10th and final round. I had it 88-83 at the stoppage.

Other fights

LH - Gus Christie (UR) (6-0-1) stepped up to LHW and scored a MD8 over Chris Pearson (club) (10-21-3) to remain unbeaten. Pearson got in a few decent rounds but for the most part Christie was never in danger. Not knockdowns or cuts. I had it 77-75, the official judges had it 77-75/76-76/77-75.

MW - Bob Turnball (37/37) (16-3-2) fought to a boring DRAW10 with Tom Henry (86/86) (9-9-4). Neither fighter was down or cut and neither took control of the fight. I had it 96-95 for Turnball, the official judges had it 95-95/96-94/94-96.

FW - Tommy O'Toole (17/13) (14-3) TKO6 Jim Keeley (69/71) (10-12-2) (o'toole at pre)

BW - Kid Williams (UR) (11-1) UD10 Charley Parton (25/34) (14-7-1) (both at pre)

FW - Tommy White (35/28) (16-9-3) UD10 Doc Hollywood (25/34) (13-3) (hollywood at pre)
