Here's how you do it:
1. Add a historic league and choose the year that you want to import.

It will also correctly expand, change to a 162-game schedule, begin maximizing the bullpen and closers in league strategies at the right time.
BUT AGAIN, BIG REMINDER: Make sure to turn off player recalc and import of historic rookies in the draft.

Well, it's nice that there's a work around, but it doesn't solve the problem. I like using the recalc to get some historical accuracy.
I'm hoping it can be corrected because it worked fine prior to patch #1.
