Excerpt from the Halifax Chronicle...Albrecht "Bric" Jacobich, reputed leader of the international criminal organization known as the Black Circle, was apprehended at what Swiss police are calling his mountain-top fortress near the town of Brig. Taken with him were eight men and three women, all heavily armed. It is, at the moment, unclear as to how police managed to capture the gang without a fight, but local rumour points to the presence of an outsider having infiltrated the murderous mob.
Excerpt from the Toronto Telegram...It is reported that Halifax Chronicle reporter Joe O'Herlihy and private investigator Vic Langille, supposedly in Switzerland to cover preparations for the upcoming Winter Games, were escorted out of the country by agents of the Swiss Federal Police. No official reasons were provided.
