WBC Title Fight

Champion Mike Tyson, USA 16-1-1 (15) vs. #5 James Jeffries, USA 17-3-0 (15)

Jeffries lands a hook to the body and follows up with a straight right that hurts Tyson at the 1:54 mark in the 1st. Jeffries pushes the champ into the ropes and lands another shot. This may be Jeffries best chance to end the fight but the champ makes it to the bell. Tyson seems to have recovered from a shaky first and both fighters trade punches to end the 2nd. Tyson wins round three handily and is cruising in the fourth. Tyson lands a sweet uppercut and the challenger is down at the end of the round. Jeffries is unable to get up as Tyson successfully defends his belt with a win (KO4).
