WBO - Champion Joe Louis, USA, 16-1-0 (15) vs. #5 Max Schmeling, Germany, 21-4-1 (19)

Germany’s Max Schmeling moves up 11 spots in the rankings to #5 after winning the EBU title from Vitali Klitschko. Louis has been inactive since April. Schmeling fought Klitschko after he had been out of the ring for six months. This will be seven for Louis. Schmeling is hoping for similar results and would love to bring a world title home across the Atlantic.

CABO - Champion Teofilo Stevenson, Cuba, 19-4-0 (19) vs. #17 George Chuvalo, Canada, 14-2-1 (14)

This will be a rematch from earlier in the year with Stevenson winning the previous fight by (TKO13). Chuvalo is ranked 3rd in CABO and moved up 14 spots in the world rankings with an incredible come from behind KO win in the last round against Ken Norton.
